Dr. O’Connor’s dental office, located at 104 Hillcrest Dr in Evergreen, Alabama suffered a significant fire on the night of March 28, 2025. The building and it's contents were a total loss due to the fire.

 

Dr. O’Connor also sustained injuries during the fire and has spent the time since the fire recovering from his injuries.

 

Dr. O'Connor will be unable to practice dentistry at this location for the foreseeable future.

 

If you are an existing patient of Dr. O’Connor, please be aware that you will need to seek care with another provider. Dr. Allen Ward in Andalusia has agreed to see Dr. O’Connor’s patients during this time. His number is 334-222-6477. You may also choose to seek care from a Dentist of your choosing.

 

If you are a Medicaid patient, you should call 1-800-362-1504 to locate a Medicaid provider.

 

Please be aware if you are treated in another dental office, you will be subject to their fee schedules. You should check with your insurance company to verify benefits and coverages prior to your appointment.

 

At this time, it appears that all patient records (including dental records, insurance data, etc) were destroyed beyond use in the fire at 104 Hillcrest Dr on March 28, 2025. It also appears that the on-site digital backup of these records was also destroyed in the fire.

If you have dental insurance, you may be able to call your insurance provider and they can provide you with a list of treatments that have been filed by Dr. O'Connor's office on your behalf.

Although we believe any recovery is unlikely, we will make our best attempt to contact any patient whose records or information is recovered during clean up .
